Star Wars: Republic Commando and other Switch 1 games fixed on Nintendo Switch 2

We’ve been seeing more frequent Nintendo Switch backwards compatibility fixes for Switch 2 as of late, and another batch went live this week.

Star Wars: Republic Commando is the highlight this time around. Following an update, it should be fully functional on Nintendo Switch 2. The same goes for a couple other games – Pocket League Story and Mega Mall Story 2 are now fixed.

For games with issues, Nintendo has now identified a problem with Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. Users may experience audio problems in some areas, the company says. A future update may address this – if that happens we’ll be sure to let you know.

This is the sixth time in about a month that there have been backwards compatibility fixes. So again, while we’re not seeing a massive amount this time, updates are becoming more frequent. It seems Nintendo is very much committed to seeing as many titles fixed as possible.

You can catch up on previous fixes made here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
