Action roguelike Footgun: Underground heading to Nintendo Switch

Today, publisher CobraTekku Games and Turtle Knight Games announced Footgun: Underground for Nintendo Switch. A release is planned for February 27, 2025.

Footgun: Underground is an action roguelike which has a soccer/football spin as players kick balls at nasty monsters. Players will dribble their way through a randomly generated, dangerous track network full of challenges.

This is where mastery of the ball is crucial – as the balls in Footgun: Underground are the centerpiece of the game. Players utilize a selection of balls and the environment as a barrier to neutralize opponents one by one. True to the rogue-like system, new skills and upgrades are available in-between completed levels to improve the player’s character as they use the balls. In combination with the enhancements provided by defeating the bosses as well as the procedurally generated levels, no two runs are ever identical.
