Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to end online service in November

Nintendo have announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp online services will come to an end later this year, on November 28. First launched in 2017, it is one of Nintendo’s longest-running apps.

As detailed in the announcement on the official site here, after planned maintenance on October 28 – seven years after its initial launch – players will no longer be able to purchase subscriptions, and the sale of Leaf Tickets will come to an end the day before on November 27.

It is noted that a paid offline version of the app is planned, and players will be able to transfer their save data using their Nintendo Accounts, although they will not be able to carry over any outstanding Leaf Tickets. Further details will be provided in October.
