Arcade-style twin stick shooter Go Mecha Ball coming to Switch

Super Rare Games and Whale Peak Games are working to bring Go Mecha Ball to Switch, the two sides announced today. A release is planned for September 26, 2024.

Go Mecha Ball is an asymmetric arcade-style twin stick shooter with roguelike progression. Players will tackle levels by using pinball-style physics mixed with an arsenal of devastating weapons while taking on waves of enemy bots and bosses.

The critically-acclaimed title offers neon-lit backdrops and colourful 3D platforms, setting the stage for energetic twin-stick shooter combat, acrobatic manoeuvres and wacky strategies. Players can ricochet off lively bumpers, soar into the sky above giant fans, or boost their way up ramps, creating unique and kinetic movement.

Players can deploy the might of four individual gun-toting mechs, each boasting a distinct arsenal of weapons, abilities, and upgrades that can be incorporated between runs, fostering roguelike progression through vibrant and exhilarating levels.
