Tomeling in Trouble

HullBreach: Uncloaked and SDK Paint developer HullBreach Studios has announced a pair of new titles, both of which are coming to Wii U.

The first, Tomeling in Trouble, is a non-stop runner action game heading to iOS and Android in Q3 / Q4. Tomeling in Trouble will be bundled in with “Tomeling” on Wii U. The latter project is an RPG containing both 2D and 3D elements. At the moment, it’s unclear when Tomeling will be available.

Nyamyam has finished developing the Wii U version of Tengami. Next on tap for the studio is Nintendo’s lot check and age ratings for the game. Once that’s complete, we’ll hopefully hear about a release date.

Here’s the latest on Tengami straight from Nyamyam:

The version is finished (yay!!!) and we are preparing to go into Lotcheck, Nintendo’s certification process that is required for all games before they are allowed to go on sale. Before that can happen we have to get age ratings for Tengami though. The game is with the various rating organizations around the globe and it is really just a matter of waiting now. The process can take up 3 weeks and there is unfortunately not much we can do to speed it up.

Dragon Quest X for 3DS

Dragon Quest X is coming to the 3DS, Square Enix announced today. The game will be available in Japan on September 4 for 3,800 yen.

On 3DS, Dragon Quest X looks to be the same full-fledged experience currently available on Wii U, Wii, and PC. You’ll also be able to play the handheld release with players in the other versions.

Also worth noting, Dragon Quest X for 3DS makes use of streaming technology. 3D will not be supported.

Update: There might be more to this update than originally thought. Check out this interesting tweet from developer Syrenne McNulty:

Nintendo has released a new system update for 3DS, bringing the firmware up to version 8.0.0-18. It’s nothing too major though – Nintendo’s website states that it makes “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments” in order “to enhance the user experience”.

Note that you’ll need to download today’s firmware in order to access the 3DS eShop.

Although Woah Dave! doesn’t have a release date yet, it should be launching in the near future. Robotube’s Jason Cirillo suggested on Twitter today that the game will be out “soon”.

The tweet is as follows:
