Barda, a solarpunk roguelike backpack survival game, coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Mudita Games shared the news today that for its next project Barda, a release is planned for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. It’s first coming to PC Early Access in October with the full launch to follow later on.

Barda is described as a solarpunk roguelike backpack survival game. The action is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the throes of reconstruction as a young adventurer sets out to lay his grandfather’s ashes atop a hostile, ever-changing mountain.

Here’s a brief overview:

By the creators of Pilo and the Holobook, Barda is a “die and retry” game where you play a young adventurer in a post-apocalyptic world, seeking to reach the top of a Mountain to spread the ashes of their grandpa.
