Becastled, a city-building with tower defense strategy gameplay, set for Nintendo Switch

Announced today, Mana Potion Studio and Pingle Studio will be releasing Becastled on Nintendo Switch. It’s expected to launch on October 23, 2025.

Becastled, a cozy-meets-challenging mix of city building and RTS-like tower defense, has previously been in Early Access for PC for over four years. For the full launch, it’ll come with expanded content, new challenges, an updated UI, and the culmination of the Sunfolk’s ancient war with the creatures of the Moon.

Becastled invites players to lead the Sun Kingdom’s last stand against the Moon Beasts, a war fought in daily cycles. By day, you will gather resources, expand your castle, and keep subjects happy with taverns and decorations. By night, you’ll man the battlements, unleash ballistas, and hold the line until dawn.

Since entering Early Access in February 2021, Becastled has grown into a beloved strategy title with thousands of players, earning a Very Positive rating on Steam, and gaining acclaim from popular creators including Real Civil Engineer, Blitz, BaronVanGames, and Splattercat.
