Blast Off is this week’s Arcade Archives title on Switch

Hamster will release Blast Off as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for September 26, 2024.

Blast Off is a shooting game released by Namco in 1989, and is the sequel to Bosconian. Player can use four different types of equipment in their quest to defeat the revived Neo Bosconian, which returns from the previous game. The ability to fire piercing bullets by holding the button down is also included.

The game will be sold digitally on the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.
