Defense Grid 2 announced for Switch, out next month
Defense Grid 2 is on the way to Switch, Hidden Path Entertainment announced today.
The studio says it “worked closely with Nintendo to create comprehensive leaderboards just for Defense Grid 2 on Nintendo Switch, so you can track your wins against all other portable players worldwide, or just with your friends as you’ve come to expect. The team also worked tirelessly on performance and quality so that you’ll have an amazing experience on the Nintendo Switch.”
For the first time outside of the VR editions, players will be able to take on the additional expansion DG2: Aftermath. Various controllers will be supported, including the Joy-Con and Pro Controller. Local co-op is also supported.

Defense Grid 2 launches $19.99 on the Switch eShop. Pre-orders begin on January 25.
