Donkey Kong Bananza has ways to help reduce motion sickness

Donkey Kong Bananza motion sickness settings

From what we’ve seen a very small percentage of players have encountered about motion sickness in Donkey Kong Bananza. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that the developers actually have included options within the settings that can help reduce this – don’t forget to change them if you’re one of the people affected.

If you are someone who gets motion sickness while playing certain games, there are three settings in particular that will help you here. First, you can disable gyro aiming and the camera sensitivity, which should help a good deal. The big setting to change here, however, is the camera vibration setting. You can turn it completely off, and with all of these settings switched off or to low, you should have a much easier time playing Donkey Kong Bananza. While you’re here, you can also change your rumble settings and button settings, if you’d like.

If you’re still having trouble and are playing on handheld mode, you might have an easier time turning on Auto-Brightness so that the screen isn’t quite as bright. That’s a much more niche suggestion, but it’s worth a shot if you change all the other settings and still need some improvements.

With all of that said, we’ve only noticed a tiny portion of players complaining about motion sickness caused by Donkey Kong Bananza. If you’re part of that subset, hopefully these options help you. It’s always good to see accessibility options present for people who need them.
