Drag x Drive made by just 20 devs, includes Hisashi Nogami of Animal Crossing and Splatoon fame
Following the release of Drag x Drive, fans are diving into the game’s credits, which includes Hisashi Nogami – who previously worked on Animal Crossing and Splatoon.
Drag x Drive is one of Nintendo’s smaller teams in recent years. Looking at the core development team, it looks like there were just twenty people involved.

Hisashi Nogami is one of the more notable names here. Nogami was the director on a few different Animal Crossing titles before going on to handle the Splatoon series as producer. Drag x Drive is actually the first game in over a decade that Nogami is credited for something outside of those two franchises.
