dreamGEAR to offer Sesame Street video game & audio accessories

The new line, appealing to consumers’ growing interest in electronics and video games accessories, will allow kid and adult gamers alike to put their personal stamp on their gaming and audio devices. dreamGEAR will unveil the Sesame Street line of gaming accessories at its E3 Expo booth #5300 located in the West Exhibit Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The dreamGEAR and i.Sound products and accessories will feature such beloved Sesame Street characters as Elmo, Cookie Monster and many more of their friends. Products will initially include a line of accessories for the Nintendo DSi, DSi XL and DS Lite portable gaming systems, and will later expand to include accessories for the Nintendo Wii and cases, audio and power accessories for the Apple iPod, iPhone and iPad.

The first officially licensed products to be released in July include a Sesame Street Crystal Case and Decal Set for the DSi, DS Lite, and DSi XL, which comes with two Sesame Street vinyl decals($14.99); three scratch-resistant, peel-and-stick Sesame Street Vinyl Decals to add style to the DSi, DS Lite, and DSi XL ($5.99); Sesame Street, Elmo and Cookie Monster Universal Soft Carrying Cases for DSi, DS Lite and DSi XL ($14.99); Elmo and Cookie Monster Styli with matching wrist straps($9.99); over-the-ear sculpted Elmo and Cookie Monster Headphones ($19.99); and Elmo and Cookie Monster Starter Kits ($24.99). To carry all portable gaming systems, accessories, and games, dreamGEAR will also introduce the Mini Game Pack, available in Elmo and Cookie Monster themes ($14.99).

In the fall, dreamGEAR will expand the co-branded line of products to include a variety of protective and stylish cases and audio products adorned with Sesame Street characters for Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod devices. “dreamGEAR and Sesame Street offer experiences that can both entertain and inspire families,” said dreamGEAR co-founder Richard Weston. “We are thrilled to be combining Sesame Street’s iconic characters with our extensive line of dreamGEAR
