Eggy Party seeing worldwide release on Switch
Today, NetEase Games confirmed that it will be launching Eggy Party on Switch worldwide. The title arrives on July 19, 2024.
If you tuned into the Japanese Nintendo Direct this week, you may recall this game from that presentation. It’s a party game already out on mobile, and for the Switch edition, cross-play functionality will be supported.
Here’s some additional information:
Eggy Party is a frantic and fun competitive multiplayer game for console and mobile devices, where players challenge each other in fun minigames on chaotic maps, all intending to be the last Eggy standing. One of the main features of the game is the vastly creative user generated content toolset, empowering players to craft stages in the Eggy Workshop, share them online, and make their Eggies their own, with a range of customization options.
Eggy Party was launched on iOS and Android globally in early 2024 to huge acclaim and soon became a big hit. The game has gathered more than 500 million players worldwide and announced that it has achieved over 100 million User-Generated Maps in March 2024. The newly announced Nintendo Switch version allows players to enjoy the cute Eggy characters on a big screen, fostering new friendships and interactions within the Eggy Island community.
NetEase Games’ Matt Liu said today: “We are thrilled to cooperate with Nintendo to bring Eggy Party to more players worldwide on Nintendo Switch. We really believe that console players will also enjoy the high-quality gameplay and vibrant community that Eggy Party offers. Welcome to the Eggyverse!”
