Gekisou! Benza Race – Toilet Shooting Star heading to Switch

Switch has seen some bizarre games over the years, but Gekisou! Benza Race – Toilet Shooting Star could be up there as one of the strangest. Da-soft will be publishing it on the system this month.
Gekisou! Benza Race – Toilet Shooting Star is officially described as a toilet racing title “that lets you experience a toilet revolution.” The game has a number of racers to play as plus a variety of circuits, and customization features. Also included is support for worldwide time trials and two-player multiplayer.
A core mechanic involves eating rice scattered throughout the track. Once a threshold is met, players can increase their speed for a brief period. Each racer also comes with a special move that can be used against others.
Players can access new courses as they progress through the main storyline and complete missions. After winning a race, it’s even possible to spend points on items like parts and toilet seat covers.
The game previously came to PC, but the Switch version has new content with new courses and music. There have also been adjustments across the board.

Gekisou! Benza Race – Toilet Shooting Star will be available on March 23, 2023 in the west – Japan will have it a week earlier.
