Grizzly Man

LCB Studio has announced Grizzly Man, the latest entry in the Pixel Pulps series of interactive adventures.

The title follows Mothmen 1966, Varney Lake, and Bahnsen Knights. All three are currently available on Nintendo Switch. Grizzly Man initially hits PC this month, but console ports are planned for a later date.

Here’s an overview of the new game:

After surviving a mysterious attack in an Alaskan forest twelve years ago that wiped his memory, Robert, a former Man in Black turned field guide, leads a group of tourists to the headwaters of a river teeming with salmon during their run. But their journey turns deadly when they encounter Grizzly Man—a bloodthirsty and enigmatic figure tied to the CIA and the infamous Project MKUltra. Will they survive the horrors of the taiga, or will they become the next catch of the day?

Dive into a gripping tale of psychedelia, government conspiracies, and survival horror with one of the coolest slashers to ever haunt the wilderness. Set during the salmon run in the unforgiving Alaskan taiga, Grizzly Man delivers a pulse-pounding blend of 1980s-inspired pixel art and pulp fiction-style storytelling.

Grizzly Man is the first installment in the Direct-To-Video Collection, a new trilogy of standalone Pixel Pulps adventures. Future titles in the series, Dark Side Sewers and Possession Junkies, are yet to be developed, promising even more gripping tales to come!
