InZoi dev interested in Nintendo Switch 2 port if it’s technically possible
The team behind InZoi has expressed interest in a Nintendo Switch 2 port, but whether that’s possible depends on the system’s specs.
The life sim game just hit Early Access last month. Since then, it’s taken off with plenty of interest and positive player feedback. We probably won’t be seeing the full launch anytime soon, but fans are already curious about whether or not we could see it on Nintendo’s upcoming console.
VideoGamer spoke with game director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim on the subject. Right now the question seems to be whether a port would be technically feasible.
Kim said the following when asked about a potential InZoi Nintendo Switch 2 port:
“It’s hard to say for sure since we don’t yet know the exact hardware specs of the Nintendo Switch 2. However, rumors suggest it may have RTX 2050-level performance. Given that InZoi currently requires relatively high specs, it would likely be difficult to run the game on the Switch [2] as-is.
We are preparing to bring inZOI to various platforms, and if optimization for the Switch 2 is feasible based on its performance, we see it as a great opportunity to connect with even more players.”
