Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, a 3D adventure game, coming to Switch
Galla is developing the 3D adventure game Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, and has revealed that it will be coming to Switch. Right now it’s planned for 2024.
Players will take on the role of Kulebra, a dead snake with a heart of gold that wakes up in Limbo. Limbo is where souls with deep regrets are cursed into repeating the same day on a loop. Gathering clues from the residents and finding items will be needed to overcome obstacles, and the end goal is for Kulebra to find his purpose while sharing his light with the residents in hopes of helping them.
Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo “will reward you for interacting with the world, paying attention to details, and connecting the dots.” There are plenty of characters to meet with their own quirks, side stories, and schedules. That’s along with an in-game day, dusk, and night cycle that changes the world and characters, and it ends with the curse that resets the souls of Limbo back to the start. The game also features a notebook that keeps track of important details, a variety of secrets, and more.
Galla has cited Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door as inspirations.

Souls of Limbo was previously funded on Kickstarter and more than doubled its goal. You can learn more about the game on the crowdfunding page here.
