Lollipop Chainsaw Repop Nintendo Switch 2 Edition revealed [update: delayed]
September 16: Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is getting a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Dragami Games just revealed. A release is planned for November.
Dragami Games is promising “significant” improvements for resolution, frame rate, and overall graphics quality compared to the original Nintendo Switch version. Those attending the Tokyo Game Show will be able to go hands-on with the game.

The story starts in San Romero High School, the largest high school in the district, somewhere on the west coast of the US of A. Protagonist Juliet Starling, is an exemplary student of San Romero who passionately loves cheerleading. Unbeknownst to most, however, her family, the Starlings, has been a lineage of zombie hunters, guiding the undead to beyond since ancient times…
The incident unfolds on Juliet’s birthday. She heads to school to meet her boyfriend, but as she pedals her bicycle into the school grounds, she is greeted by the sight of her former schoolmates, who have all been turned into zombies!

Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is out now on Nintendo Switch and comes to Switch 2 later this year.
November 14: The game has been delayed and is now releasing early next year. Below is the official statement:
We would like to inform you that the release of “Lollipop Chainsaw Repop Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” has been postponed from the originally planned November 2025 to early 2026.
While the title was initially planned to be released as a digital-only version, we received many requests for a physical edition following the announcement. In response, and with the cooperation of multiple publishing partners, we are now able to prepare physical releases for multiple regions.
To align the release timing of both the digital and physical editions, we have decided to postpone the release.
We sincerely apologize for the extended wait and any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
We are also pleased to announce a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition-exclusive mode, “Gun Shooting Mode.”
This mode is an additional feature in which players fend off incoming zombies using only the Chainsaw Blaster’s ranged attacks, and it becomes available to play after clearing either Original Mode or RePOP Mode.
The mode also supports mouse-like controls using the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2, providing a more intuitive aiming experience.
