Macross Shooting Insight announced for Switch

Original (1/9): Today, Bushiroad unveiled Macross Shooting Insight for Switch. The game is on track to launch sometime in 2023.

Macross Shooting Insight is a new game based on the science fiction mecha anime. Kaminari Games, who is in charge of development, is making a scrolling shooter. Further information has not been provided.

We’ll have more information about the project in the future as it’s announced.

Update (8/16): The game has now been delayed to January 25, 2024. Previously, it was on track for this year on Switch in Japan. Bushiroad apologized for the extra wait and asked fans to “wait just a little longer.”

Update (11/17): Macross Shooting Insight has been delayed again and will now launch on March 14, 2023 with Bushiroad and Kaminari Games focusing on quality.
