Monster taming action RPG Synth Beasts revealed for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2

Radhood intends to bring its new game Synth Beasts to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, the developer confirmed today. A release window was not provided.

Synth Beasts is a monster taming action RPG. Radhood says it features Zelda gameplay with Pokemon-like creature catching and graphics inspired by Octopath Traveler.

In Synth Beasts, capture monsters to use them against the scientists who created you. Sail the open ocean in a stolen boat belonging to your captors, and destroy their failed experimental creatures to put an end to the creation of the Synth Beasts.

Creature Collecting: Capture over 40 Synth Beasts. Level them up to improve their stats and develop new abilities.

Open Sea: Navigate the ocean in your stolen boat and explore dozens of islands inhabited by failed experiments—the Synth Beasts.

Vengeance: Your choices shape your ending—seek revenge or spare the scientists who created you to unlock different endings.

While the project is fully moving forward, a Kickstarter campaign is planned. This will happen in Q1 of this year with fans being able to contribute to the last wave of development, and fans will be able to make their own monsters and islands, receive pre-launch beta access, and more.
