Nefasto’s Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze, point-and-click adventure game, heading to Switch
Today, publisher Pix’n Love and developer Aurora Game Studio announced that they’ll be releasing Nefasto’s Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze on Switch. The title is on track for early 2023.
Here’s some information explaining what to expect from the final game:
Nefasto could have been a hero. Unfortunately for him, he is more “zero” material. And for good reason: bottle-fed with binary code, it is an (insignificant) game data of a (very) bad game. A bug generated by the appalling work of its developers is causing the world in which it evolves to crumble. As the system purges its mediocre program, Nefasto mutates into corrupted data and finds itself stuck in the heart of a buggy console! The system is about to crash and time is running out! Will he find a way to escape before being permanently erased from the program?
Have you ever wondered how a video game works? Here is what is timely: you will discover here the backstage of a program that… does not work! As in, really not…
Join Nefasto in his (mis)adventures and help him escape this failing video game, where all the characters encountered, each cheekier than the other, do not necessarily want to support you in your despicable task…
Locked in this binary world that makes no sense, with sometimes rough graphics and often misleading appearances, Nefasto will need to use his gray matter (which he lacks of, by the way) to get by.
In order to be solved, the multiple puzzles that will block our (z)hero’s path will require an IQ of around 140. Some particularly daring beta testers have tried their hand at it. Everyone broke their teeth there. Fortunately, in case you fail, many endings await you with their share of “happy endings” (except, perhaps, for Nefasto).
