NetherWorld physical release detailed, pre-orders open

SelectaPlay has announced that the NetherWorld special physical boxed edition up for pre-orders. The physical edition includes a full-color ‘NetherWorld for Dummies’ manual.

NetherWorld is a side scrolling action adventure narrative experience developed by Hungry Pixel, and published by SelectaPlay. The game was funded on Kickstarter with Fans helping raise €10,000 – double the goal.

What is NetherWorld?

Meet Medoo, the world’s saddest jellyfish. After being unceremoniously dumped by his wife, he drowns his sorrows in vodka, only to wake up in a surreal, sleazy nightmare filled with degenerates, perverts, and psychopaths. His only way forward? Navigating the madness, making questionable choices, and maybe, just maybe, piecing together his broken life (or at least scoring a cool hat along the way).

NetherWorld Features:

A Twisted Story – Meet a cast of totally respectable citizens, including coke-fueled mages, entrepreneurial prostitutes, sadistic mobsters, and sociopathic kids who’d make a demon blush. Will they help Medoo? Probably not.

Insane Minigames – Get wasted in drinking competitions, dabble in ‘ahem’ extracurricular activities, blast enemies to pieces, or guide a bionic tick named Joe through underground roguelike dungeons. Just another Tuesday.

Bonkers Boss Fights – Face down grotesque, nightmarish foes using whatever weapons (or poor life choices) you have at your disposal. Feeling brave? Try fighting unarmed, we dare you.
