Nintendo has come forward with a new list of prices for repairs in Switch 2.
Most folks who end up pick up the system are naturally hoping they’ll never need a repair. However, the reality is that some things break, and you might need to send something in – whether it’s the system itself or an accessory.
When you purchase a Nintendo Switch 2, you’ll be entitled to a one-year warranty. Once that runs out, you’ll need to fork over some cash for repairs.
You can find is a list of Nintendo Switch 2 repair prices below. This information was posted on the official repairs site.
Nintendo Switch 2 repair prices – full list
- Console: $179
- Dock: $66
- Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller: $48
- Camera: $30
- AC Adapter: $18
One thing you’ll notice that isn’t on the list is the Joy-Con 2. Just like the previous system, repairs for the controller should be free. One of the biggest issues surrounding Nintendo Switch was Joy-Con drift, and thankfully, any problems there were fixed with no questions asked.
It’s worth noting that Nintendo has been coy about drift with the Joy-Con 2. However, the company has said improvements have been made compared to the previous controllers. The Joy-Con 2 don’t have Hall Effect sticks, so it’s unclear if drift will become an issue later on.
