Nintendo shares first Switch 2 file sizes for Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong, more
Nintendo has shared the first wave of Switch 2 file sizes, revealing how big Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and more are.
Over on the official Japanese store, multiple games are listed. That provides us with the following information:
- Mario Kart World – 23.4GB
- Donkey Kong Bananza – 10GB
- Super Mario Party Jamboree – 7.7GB
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 5.7GB
- GameCube Nintendo Classics – 3.5GB
As for Super Mario Party Jamboree, it’s worth noting that it’s 5.3GB on Nintendo Switch. Kirby and the Forgotten Land comes in at 5.8GB on the current console.
We’ll also mention one other thing. Quite often, we’ve seen that initial listings are estimates. Closer to launch, these pages tend to update and the file sizes differ – at least that’s what happened with Nintendo Switch 1 titles. We’ll see if that turns out to be the case once again here. However, if that happens, they should be smaller fluctuations – this should still give us a pretty good about Nintendo Switch 2 game sizes.
We’ve been covering Nintendo Switch 2 throughout the week and there’s still plenty of notable news coming in. Keep track of it all here.
