Nintendo Switch 2 leak shows the console being turned on [update: setup, home menu, settings]
Original: Another Nintendo Switch 2 leak has emerged, this time showing the actual device being turned on. While it’s small in the grand scheme of things, it’s actually the first time we’re able to see this.
Nintendo Switch 2, of course, has not officially launched. That won’t be happening until next Thursday, June 5. However, Russian Telegram channel Pops & Culture appears to have received a unit early somehow – likely through some sort of retailer leak.
You can check out the video for yourself below, which shows the initial boot and the user being taken into a setup screen.

This is the second consecutive day of a major Nintendo Switch 2 leak from a retail unit. Yesterday, another fan was seemingly able to obtain the console and posted about it online – we covered the news here. However, it seems that the system locks off most functionality until an update is installed. That update is not yet available and will likely not go live until we’re closer to the launch.
Update: Another video has come in, which we have below. This shows the initial setup, home menu, and settings.
