Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller charge time much faster than Switch 1
Wondering how long the charge time is for the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller? As it turns out, it’ll be much faster than the one for Switch 1.
Nintendo’s website states that to reach full charge on the Switch 2 Pro Controller, the time is about 3.5 hours. Getting to that same point with the Switch 1 version is about six hours.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller features a lithium ion battery / battery capacity 1070 mAh. It’s estimated that a single charge will provide approximately 40 hours. However, Nintendo notes that the actual time may vary depending on usage conditions.
For those wondering how the new Pro Controller stacks up to the Joy-Con, the latter also takes 3.5 hours for its charging time. The batter life is lower though, with battery life coming in at about 20 hours. The Joy-Con are packed with a lithium ion battery / battery capacity 500 mAh.
