Mario Party dev Nintendo Cube worked on Switch 2 Welcome Tour
According to the studio’s website, Nintendo Cube worked on Switch 2 Welcome Tour.
Nintendo Cube is the same developer behind the Mario Party series. Most recently, they were know as NDcube before changing to the new name.
One thing we believes need to be clarified is that Nintendo Cube is not solely responsible for Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. The subsidiary worked with Nintendo EPD on the game. This is a similar situation as Mario Kart World – Nintendo EPD was primarily responsible, but we know that Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft contributed to the project.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is the last major game Nintendo Cube is primarily responsible for. The studio has a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the title coming out later this month.
Nintendo Cube has largely been a Mario Party studio over the years, but has been involved with other games as well. These include Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.
