Nintendo Switch Online adds Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush icons

Nintendo has released the latest set of icons on Switch Online. This time it’s themed around Donkey Kong Bananza’s DLC, DK Island & Emerald Rush.

The first set is now available, lasting until September 25. Nintendo Switch Online members can spend their Platinum Points on various icons on a weekly basis. New icons will go up every Thursday (Friday for those in Europe) until October 9 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

Designs are currently available for Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Pauline, and more. Previously released Donkey Kong Bananza icon elements are also featured. Just like we typically see, characters are 10 Platinum Points each. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points each.

We’ll update this post as the new Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush icons go live. Yesterday Nintendo announced that they’ll also be bringing Klonoa Empire of Dreams and Mr. Driller 2 to the service, which you can read all about here.
