Nintendo to replace Chris Niosi as the voice of male Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses with a new actor in a future patch
Nintendo is removing Chris Niosi as the voice of male Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the company has confirmed. A new actor will be used, and his lines will replace those previously recorded by Niosi. This change will come in the form of a future patch.
In a statement, Nintendo said today:
“After assessing the situation, we decided to re-record the character’s voiceovers in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes with another actor. The new voiceovers will be included in a future patch.”
Niosi has already been replaced in Fire Emblem Heroes, which comes after he admitted to abuse. Zach Aguilar took over the role in that game, and may very well be used in Three Houses.
