Nintendo will let you transfer games between Switch and Switch Lite

In a couple of months, the Switch Lite will be launching. Some will stay with their original system, but others will migrate over to the new device. If you are planning on purchasing the new system, you won’t have to worry about leaving your purchases behind.
Speaking with CNET, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser confirmed that you’ll be able to transfer games between the devices. He said:
“Yes, you will have the ability to transfer between devices, your gameplay experiences. More to come on there, but that is the intention.”
In the same article, Bowser said that Switch and Switch Lite “complement each other and coexist in the market.” CNET reports that the Switch Lite “uses a more efficient processor that enables smaller heat vents on top of the system.”
