Nuclear Throne seeing physical release on Nintendo Switch

There’s another physical release in the works from Super Rare Games, and the company has announced that Nuclear Throne is getting the boxed treatment on Nintendo Switch.

4,000 units will be up for grabs. You’ll get a slip cover, a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, and a trading card pack.

Nuclear Throne first hit the Nintendo eShop way back in 2019. Below is an official overview:

The indie Super-hit from Vlambeer, finally on Nintendo Switch! Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike-like top-down shooter. Not ‘the final hope of humanity’ post-apocalyptic, but ‘humanity is extinct and mutants and monsters now roam the world’ post-apocalyptic. Fight your way through the wastelands with powerful weaponry, collecting radiation to mutate some new limbs and abilities. All these things and more you could do if only you were good at this game.
