Pirate adventure game Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet reaches Switch next month
The pirate adventure game Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet will appearing on Switch next month, Application Systems has announced. A release is planned on the eShop for July 11.
Here’s an overview of the title, along with a trailer:
The villainous Baron Widebeard has kidnapped a fleet of birds and hypnotized them to do his bidding. Join their would-be savior Nelly Cootalot on a brave journey from the South Seas to the icy north and beyond. Along the way you’ll race aristocrats for fun and profit, commandeer an ancient airship, enter the mind of a monkey wizard, and “borrow” moonshine from a surly Viking — all in the name of rescuing those poor birds.
Features:
Redesigned controls for Nintendo Switch (JoyCons and touch screen are both supported)
Hilarious commentary track from developer Alasdair Beckett-King, who just happens to be an award-winning stand-up comedian — a brand new feature that will debut on Nintendo Switch
Delightful hand-drawn cartoon art and animation
Voice acting and subtitles in English and German, plus subtitles in French, Spanish, and Italian. (Fun fact: the English voice cast includes Tom Baker of Dr. Who fame!)
