Planet of Lana, the stunning cinematic puzzle-platformer produced by Thunderful and developed by Wishfully, has surpassed 1 million players.
The game tells the touching story of Lana and her cat Mui, on a quest to rescue Lana’s sister, who was kidnapped by invading machines, very much in the style of H. G. Wells, War of the Worlds.
“We’re so happy that Planet of Lana has resonated so strongly with players,” said Wishfully director Adam Stjärnljus. “It was always a huge passion project for us at Wishfully, so the fact that it was so beloved by the community means the world to us.”
The adventure doesn’t end here: Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf has already been announced, with a confirmed launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
