Promise Mascot Agency gains Nintendo Switch physical release
Not to be outdone by all of the news shared by Limited Run Games today, Lost In Cult has announced a physical release for Promise Mascot Agency on Nintendo Switch. Copies should ship in Q1 2026.
The company is preparing the regular standard version. On top of that, the game will be offered through its “Editions” label, limited to 3,000 copies. This includes the game housed in a custom, collectible mailer box with seasonally-rotated illustrations, an essay and developer interview booklet (40 pages) by Miri Teixeira, original outer slipcase artwork by José Salot, exclusive variant case coversheet, poster artwork by Bloomer, color-thematic inner slipcase with release number code, and fold-out unique artwork poster with checklist and artist description on the back.
Promise Mascot Agency landed on the Nintendo eShop earlier this year. Below is some information about it:
From the creators of Paradise Killer, Promise Mascot Agency is the world’s first (and best) open world mascot management crime drama.
Michi, a disgraced yakuza lieutenant, has been exiled to the cursed Japanese coastal town of Kaso-Machi. This forgotten locale is not what it once was: industry has slowed, its population has declined, and its once-bustling yakuza underworld barely makes a dent in the local crime rate.
In his exile, Michi’s role is not to revive the local crime syndicates, but to turn a bankrupt mascot agency into a profitable enterprise.
Flanked by his Assistant Manager (and pollical mascot) Pinky, Michi must recruit and find work for a motley crew of sentient mascots. Sentient? Oh yes: you won’t find any costumes here. Mascots are living creatures that have coexisted with mankind since the dawn of history, and it’s your job to help fulfil their hopes, dreams, and put food on their tables.
Assign your mascots to jobs, ferry them to work in your dilapidated truck – and be prepared for when it all goes wrong. Look out for collectibles, help your mascots out of perilous situations with Hero Cards, and spread the word of the Promise Mascot Agency far and wide!
You can pre-order both versions of the Promise Mascot Agency Nintendo Switch physical release here.
