Regency Solitaire

After a strong reception on PC, Regency Solitaire is making the jump to Switch. Developer Grey Alien Games has announced that it will have a new version ready to go for the console on October 19.

Regency Solitaire has players taking on the role of Bella, a charming high-society girl who must win back her family’s wealth after her brother, Edward, gambled it all away. At the same time, she’ll be looking to take charge of her own destiny and avoid an arranged marriage with the odious Mr. Bleakley.

While the title is presented with a romantic story, it’ll be backed up by ever-reliable solitaire gameplay. It should work particularly well with the system’s touch screen, though there is the standard support for the Joy-Con as well. The game will have 180 levels, upgrades to collect, Normal and Hard modes, and a soundtrack of specially-composed classical music. There’ll also be a number of different locations, including Brighton, London, and Bath. You can also decorate the family ballroom to unlock gameplay features and improve Bella’s chances of finding true love.

We have a trailer promoting the new Switch version of Regency Solitaire below.

Regency Solitaire will cost $11.99 / £9.99 / €10.99 on the Switch eShop. It will carry a 20 percent pre-order and launch week discount.
