RUN: The World In-Between heading to Switch in April
PID Publishing and developer Team Run have announced that RUN: The World In-Between will be making its way to Switch next month. It will be available on April 14, 2022.
RUN: The World In-Between is described by “a highly dynamic platform game with procedurally-generated levels.” The project was inspired by a number of other titles, including Celeste, Dead Cells, Scourge Bringer, and Super Meat Boy.
Since the game is procedurally generated, each run will be different. The premise is as follows: “In a place where everything is constantly moving, you will have to face the dangers of the World In-Between to reach for the light.” PID says “movements will have to be as quick as they are precise.”
Here’s a rundown of the game’s features:
- Addictive gameplay
- Gems to collect in order to unlock memories
- Replay value – you can always beat your own score
- Accessibility options to customize your experience
- An optimized mode for speedrunners
- Artistic direction by Encre Mecanique
- Soundtrack by Thomas Barrandon
- By the creator of HepHep Fever
