RUN: The World In-Between

PID Publishing and developer Team Run have announced that RUN: The World In-Between will be making its way to Switch next month. It will be available on April 14, 2022.

RUN: The World In-Between is described by “a highly dynamic platform game with procedurally-generated levels.” The project was inspired by a number of other titles, including Celeste, Dead Cells, Scourge Bringer, and Super Meat Boy.

Since the game is procedurally generated, each run will be different. The premise is as follows: “In a place where everything is constantly moving, you will have to face the dangers of the World In-Between to reach for the light.” PID says “movements will have to be as quick as they are precise.”

Here’s a rundown of the game’s features:

  • Addictive gameplay
  • Gems to collect in order to unlock memories
  • Replay value – you can always beat your own score
  • Accessibility options to customize your experience
  • An optimized mode for speedrunners
  • Artistic direction by Encre Mecanique
  • Soundtrack by Thomas Barrandon
  • By the creator of HepHep Fever

We have a trailer for RUN: The World In-Between below.

RUN: The World In-Between will be sold digitally for Switch via the eShop. Pricing has not been announced at this time.
