Side-scrolling retro adventure game Mythargia heading to Switch

Original (4/7): Bonus Stage Publishing and developer RunByCoffee intend to release Mythargia on Switch, the two sides have confirmed. The project is on track for a 2023 debut.
The game has players taking on the role of a journalist as they search for a breakthrough story. After securing a promising lead, the main character ends up on an abandoned island where he’ll have to discover its buried history that connects two different dimensions.
At its core, Mythargia is a 2D side-scrolling retro adventure game. There’s plenty of exploration, and as you progress, “you will come face to face with the unnatural presence on the island.” Tools and items can be found to help journey further inland. A number of puzzles will also be included in the game and players can solve them to get a better idea as to what actually happened on the island.

Enter the other dimension and assist the islanders to earn their trust in order to learn more about them and their backgrounds.
Write journal entries and take photos of your journey to understand what has gone down on the island of Mythargia and compile a story of the century.

Update (5/30): Mythargia will launch for Switch tomorrow, May 31. The game is confirmed to cost $5.99.
