Sociable Soccer 24 delayed on Switch

Sociable Soccer 24 is going to take a bit longer for its Switch launch, as the game is seeing a delay. Tower Studios says it’s still in submission with Nintendo.

A new date confirmation should be coming soon. For the time being, Tower Studios anticipates an early 2024 launch.

We were originally expecting to see Sociable Soccer 24 on November 16. However, that day flew by without the release – now we know why.

Designer Jon Hare said: “Maybe we are crazy for combining 13,000 licensed professional football players with old fashioned, fun arcade gameplay and Fortnite style presentation. But we have always believed there is a huge gap in the market for a different sort of licensed action football game. We are sorry for the small delay on the Switch release, but we are sure it will be worth the wait.”

Sociable Soccer 24 will be sold digitally on Switch at launch with a physical version to follow.
