Starter Pokemon locations Indigo Disk Pokemon Scarlet Violet

The Indigo Disk’s Terarium is home to every single starter Pokemon from previous games, and since they can all be caught in the wild, we’ll inform you about all of their locations – ranging from Squirtle to Cyndaquil. That said, you have to unlock the ability to find them in the wild first. Every starter Pokemon appears here except for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly – those still can’t be found in the wild right now, so keep that in mind.

Starter Pokemon location guide

Starter Pokemon locations

You can’t activate any starter Pokemon locations until you gain the ability to spend BP at the League Club Room in the Blueberry Academy. The Indigo Disk’s Terarium has four biomes – Savanna, Coastal, Polar, and Canyon. Each one of these has an option to unlock starter Pokemon at the League Club Room’s computer for 3,000 BP each. You’ll need to grind out a bunch of BP to save up this much – fortunately, none of the tasks you need to complete to earn BP are difficult. We’d recommend pulling up a video in the background to watch, though, because the tasks are usually pretty simple: things like catching Pokemon, traveling 500 yards, etc.

The Savanna biome is home to the following:

  • Charmander
  • Totodile
  • Snivy
  • Fennekin
  • Rowlet
  • Sobble

The Canyon biome is home to:

  • Squirtle
  • Treecko
  • Turtwig
  • Tepig
  • Litten

The Coastal biome is home to:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Chikorita
  • Mudkip
  • Froakie
  • Popplio
  • Grookey

The Polar biome is exclusive to:

  • Cyndaquil
  • Torchic
  • Chimchar
  • Piplup
  • Oshawott
  • Chespin
  • Scorbunny

Lots of Fire-types in that one! Upgrading each biome is expensive, so keep all the starter Pokemon locations in mind when you pick the biome you want to upgrade first.
