Super Contra: Alien Strikes Back is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Super Contra: Alien Strikes Back will be arriving as the next Arcade Archives game for Switch, Hamster has confirmed. It’ll be launching on January 17, 2024.

Released by Konami in 1988, Super Contra: Alien Strikes Back is set one year after the events of the previous game, and sees Bill and Lance returning to stop the revived alien army from invading earth. The game is split between side-view and top-view stages, each offering different variations of the classic action gameplay.
