Switch and play with Switch in unexpected places across the U.S.
Nintendo is looking to showcase Switch’s new style of console gaming on the go “with highly visual, interactive living room-inspired spaces in places you would never expect, bringing surprises to every stop.” The company will be hosting a series of experiences starting this week in the desert at Blue Cloud Movie Ranch on February 23. Those who stop by will be able to “enter the interactive space and experience different Nintendo Switch games, as well as delight in the novelty of playing these games in a completely unexpected locale.”
WWE Superstar and actor John Cena will be the special guest at at Blue Cloud Movie Ranch. Cena will be on hand to showcase the face-to-face off-TV functionality of 1-2-Switch. He’ll be playing the game with invited fans and YouTube influencers.
Nintendo’s second event is planned for Aspen, Colorado, on February 27 at the popular Snowmass ski resort. Nintendo is again trying to show that games on Switch can be played anywhere.
Lastly, Madison Square Park in New York will host an event on March 3. Mario and Luigi will be attending to celebrate the console’s launch.
Nintendo says the following about its upcoming events:
“Each of these Nintendo Switch experiences will be an absolute spectacle, featuring visuals that remind people of home gaming, but set in wildly unexpected places.
