Switch eShop search functionality updated

Nintendo has updated the Switch eShop to make searching a bit more intuitive.

In the past, when visiting the search section of the eShop, it was mostly a blank page. Users were shown a search box, and that’s pretty much it. Now, however, specific filters are on the main page, including genre, price range, games with demos, and DLC.

When you actually search, this also looks a bit different. Here’s the updated page:

The Switch eShop has continued to evolve quite a bit since its initial launch in March 2017, and will probably continue to do so. We’ll let you know about any other changes that emerge in the future.
