Though it took place a few days ago, Nintendo has now put out an official announcement to celebrate the release of Switch in Brazil. The system, accessories, and plenty of games are available through various retailers.

Here’s the full press release:

Today, the Nintendo Switch system launches in Brazil in two color options: Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Con and Nintendo Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy-Con. Nintendo Switch can be purchased at select stores Lojas Americanas and Magazine Luiza, as well as online at Americanas.com.br, Magazineluiza.com.br and Submarino.com.br, at a suggested retail price of R$ 2.999,00

“We hope that Nintendo Switch makes it easy for players of all ages to enjoy their favorite games the way they want,” said Bill van Zyll, Director and General Manager of Latin America at Nintendo of America. “Whether playing on the TV or taking the system anywhere in portable handheld mode, Nintendo Switch can fit any gaming lifestyle.”

Nintendo Switch comes with the console, Joy-Con (L) and Joy-Con controllers, a Joy-Con grip (to which two Joy-Con are attached and used as one controller), a set of Joy-Con straps, a Nintendo Switch dock (which holds the console and connects it to a TV), an HDMI cable, an AC adaptor plug for Brazil and a quick-start guide in Brazilian Portuguese.

Nintendo Switch connects to your TV at home and can instantly transform into an on-the-go portable system using its 6.2-inch high-definition screen. The screen includes multi-touch capabilities for compatible games. The left Joy-Con controller has a Capture button that allows players who are 13 years old or older to take instant screenshots of gameplay to share with friends on their social media channels. The right Joy-Con controller includes an NFC touchpoint, as well as an IR Motion Camera that can approximate the distance, shape and motion of nearby objects in specially designed games. Both Joy-Con include motion controls and HD Rumble feature.

Additional Joy-Con color options and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller are also available in Brazil. The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller includes all the same features as the Joy-Con (minus the IR Motion Camera) and comes in a more traditional form. It is available for purchase at select stores, including Lojas Americanas and Magazine Luiza, as well as online at Americanas.com.br and Submarino.com.br.

The new owners of a Nintendo Switch in Brazil have access to a library of more than 100 Nintendo Switch games in Loja Nintendo, the official digital store for Nintendo Switch games. In Loja Nintendo, popular titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and recently launched Paper Mario: The Origami King, among others, are available for purchase. Extra content can also be found in the digital store, such as the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game* and the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass for the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games** and Nintendo Switch Online memberships.
