THQ Nordic, alongside developer Quantumfrog, has announced the release date for its new game Pumuckl and the Crown of the Pirate King. The title is set to launch on March 5.

Pumuckl is the iconic red-haired “kobold” from the long-running German children’s series Meister Eder und sein Pumuckl, which originally debuted back in 1961. In recent years, the character has returned to the spotlight thanks to the TV series Neue Geschichten vom Pumuckl, as well as the feature film Pumuckl and the Big Misunderstanding.

Pumuckl and the Crown of the Pirate King brings the mischievous character to a brand-new adventure, combining classic platforming elements with a lighthearted narrative inspired by the franchise’s charm and humor.

THQ Nordic and Quantumfrog have announced Pumuckl and the Crown of the Pirate King, a 3D puzzle adventure game coming to Nintendo Switch. The title is scheduled to launch in early 2026.
