The Big Huge Gigantic NintendoEverything Wii Send-Off [Part 1]

2. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

It wasn’t hard to guess that this game would make the list, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t gush about it just a little bit more! Even with as high a standard as games like Windwaker and… well… Windwaker set, Skyward Sword managed to still completely floor people at times with how beautiful some of the scenery really was. Utilizing a completely unique (as far as I can tell) art style that masks short draw distances with watercolour transitions as well as the top-notch vibrancy Nintendo is so well known for, the game made a very distinct mark on the end of the Wii’s life span, bringing with it not just another Zelda title, but arguably the most unique game in the series to date visually.

Onwards to #1…
