The Epyx Games: Sports Collection heading to Nintendo Switch
Pixel Games is about to release The Epyx Games: Sports Collection on Nintendo Switch, the company revealed today. It’s slated for November 28, 2024.
The Epyx Games: Sports Collection brings eight classic retro sports titles to the console. Players can relive over 50 different athletic and sporting events across the various titles in the remastered collection, including the best-seller California Games (1987).

- Summer Games II (1985)
- Winter Games (1985)
- World Games (1986)
- Championship Wrestling (1986)
- California Games (1987)
- The Games – Winter Edition (1988)
- The Games – Summer Edition (1988)

According to Pixel Games, each title features recreations of the original box art, fully integrated instruction manuals, and additional display filters to capture that full retro feeling. It’ll be possible to save in each of the games and there’s support for right-handed and left-handed controller presets.
Pre-orders are now up on the Nintendo eShop with a 16 percent discount. The collection will normally be priced at $11.99.
