The Hand of Panda has a strong shot of a Wii U version

The Hand of Panda is only coming to the 3DS eShop at present. However, the game’s developer has shown quite a bit of interest in bringing it to the Wii U as well.

Moving on to an HD release “will no doubt become our next project” assuming the 3DS version succeeds. The best aspect about this? Those who support the Kickstarter with a $15 pledge or more would receive the Wii U version for free.

An official message from The Hand of Panda developer reads:

“If we succeed with the 3DS version, then an HD version will no doubt become our next project. And those of you that help support our 3DS version with a pledge of $15 or more will be given the Wii U version FREE OF CHARGE upon completion. Why you ask? We aren’t freeloaders, and we’ll use your aid and support along with the 3DS sales to help generate revenue for the HD version. We don’t want to ask for money unless we absolutely need too, and since most people either have one game system or the other, we’d like to give something back to those who would actually like to play our game.”
