You play as Dresden, a systems engineer for the PXL Megacorporation. Living in a utopian paradise, known as the Trigons; Dresden is evicted for the crime of new found poverty after he spends his entire life savings in order to put his mother through cancer treatment. Once Dresden is deported from the Trigons, he is approached by Damon Knight, VP of the PXL Megacorporation who offers him the deal of a lifetime, one Dresden has no choice but to take. PXL will take care of his mothers medical expenses and give Dresden a full return to his former life, in exchange for espionage against a list of their adversaries.

Dresden is far underequipped and too inexperienced, but still attempts to carry out his missions while making allies and enemies alike. When the world turns upside down for Dresden, he accidentally stumbes upon the most dangerous discovery of all time.

Dresden uncovers a secret and a conspiracy so large it stands to unravel the entire planet, starting all the way at the top of the PXL Megacorporation, while they hold his mothers life in the balance.
