2. The Conduit
Before High Voltage Software’s The Conduit came out, I was absolutely hyped. My stupid self was convinced that it would be the Wii’s Halo, and that it would finally prove that the Wii could do what other consoles could do ONLY BETTER. I wrote several articles detailing why the game would be amazing, and I even gave it an 8.1 in my stupid review. Now, admittedly, that score isn’t TOTALLY off the mark, but man was I blind to the actual quality of the game, and I think that’s why you guys had it as the second most disappointing thing that the Wii ever gave us. We all got hyped for something that just wasn’t possible from a developer that had never proven themselves… and we paid the price.
